Character accommodation ideal for a holiday in West Wales near to the Pembrokeshire National Park. The holiday cottages are situated in the wing of Plas Aberceri Mansion. Plas Aberceri is only a mile from Newcastle Emlyn, a bustling market town in Carmarthenshire, and eight miles from the beautiful West Wales coastline. The annexe of the mansion provides character self catering accommodation in two cottages sleeping two and four people, with ample safe car parking, Ty Teifi which sleeps four and Ty Ceri which sleeps two.
The house is set in five acres of formal gardens, woodland and orchards and one boundary of 250 yards is formed by the river Teifi, a highly regarded game river ideal for fishing. There are a variety of lies and pools including the holding pool for the Ceri which is a well known spawning river for salmon and sea trout. Plas Aberceri is about a mile upstream from Cenarth with the famous Salmon leap. A stretch of the river is available for fishing which is located on adjoining land; this can be used for no additional charge.
Situated in Coastal location near to Newcastle Emlyn in West Wales, ideal for a relaxing holiday break! The cottages are near to the sea being located just ten miles from the beautiful National Trust beach of Mwnt and the Ceredigion Marine Heritage Coast. The coast is home to an abundance of marine life including bottlenose dolphins, harbour porpoise, grey seals and many sea birds and fish.
The holiday cottages are well placed to explore the local area of west Wales, Brechfa Forest, Cardigan Bay, the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path and the Pembrokeshire National Park.
The cottages are surrounded by well kept lawns perfect for barbeques during warm days and the summer months in Wales.
The holiday cottages are ideal for group accommodation sleeping up to 6 people in the two self catering holiday cottages. For active visitors the cottages are in a good position to explore Ceredigion, Pembrokeshire and west Wales by mountain bike.
