Plas Aberceri Holiday Cotage are only a mile from Newcastle Emlyn, a bustling market town with nine pubs, excellent butchers and fishmonger, delicatessen, health food shop, antique shops, supermarket, two bakers from whom you can buy your fresh bread in the morning and a selection of restaurants.
We are nine miles from Cardigan the unspoilt county town of Ceredigion and seven miles from the beaches at Aberporth, Penbryn and Tresaith, small popular seaside villages. The rest of the famous and beautiful south Cardigan and Pembrokeshire coastline is within easy reach.
This area of Wales is visitor friendly and there are many wet day attractions in the vicinity including museums, woolmills, Cornmills and potteries.
The Preseli hills are no more than thirty minutes drive and these provide, along with the Pembrokeshire coastal path, ample challenge for serious and less dedicated walkers. In addition riding, pony trekking, golf, swimming, boating, sailing and canoeing are all available in the neighbourhood. We can book many of these in advance.
And of course, we have some of the finest medieval castles in the country in this corner of Wales as well as extensive iron age forts and remains.
